Devin has been a sushi chef for 16 years, with most of her training based in Seattle and the rest developed in Portland, Oregon, where she now lives. She’s worked in a number of well-known kitchens across Portland and brings a deep, hands-on knowledge of sushi to each lesson. Through teaching private classes, she’s found a real love for connecting with people through food and sharing what she’s learned along the way.

We had a really excellent experience. The class was held in a really nice location downtown with easy parking and a great bar. Devin expanded our knowledge base as well as gave us confidence to follow-up at home. This class works really well for people with no prior or only limited experience as well as those in our group with lots of experience in the kitchen. Thank you, Chef Devin.

Devin was fun, knowledgeable, thoughtful and very experienced. She took her time to make sure you understood her instructions. The end product was delicious! One thing - I wish she would have shown us what one of hers looked like….i’m sure mine was way too thick,,,,,,It was a delightful evening and I would love to take another class from her!
