With over 20 years of culinary experience, Chef Jami brings a deep passion for food and education to every cooking class. Jami began their culinary journey with classical French training at Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, CA, which laid a strong foundation for a dynamic career in the Pacific Northwest.

After relocating to Seattle, Chef Jami worked alongside some of the city’s most acclaimed and respected chefs, honing skills across a wide range of cuisines and kitchen environments. Known for a thoughtful, technique-driven approach and a love of seasonal, locally-sourced ingredients, Chef Jami developed a reputation for both creativity and precision in the kitchen.

In the past five years, Chef Jami has shifted focus from restaurant kitchens to culinary education—sharing years of industry knowledge with aspiring chefs and home cooks alike. Whether teaching foundational knife skills or advanced cooking techniques, Chef Jami is committed to empowering students with confidence, skill, and a true appreciation for the culinary arts.

So much fun!!!!! We loved the experience of making pasta from scratch. We've never made homemade pasta so this was a very fun experience. I can't wait to try this at home. Jami was awesome, fun, and just added to the experience. I highly recommend to anyone to try it.

One of the best class experiences ever! Chef Jami was engaging, friendly, funny and overall really great. Recommend this class as a group, couple or even solo. The venue was a winery and that paired really well. The place was clean and organized and the staff and service was also good.

My friend and I attended Chef Jami’s Cocusocial sushi-making class, and we had an amazing time! Chef Jami created such a welcoming and fun atmosphere from the moment we arrived. She was knowledgeable, patient, and made the sushi-making process easy to follow, even for beginners. The class was hands-on, interactive, and full of helpful tips that made us feel confident creating our own rolls. We learned a lot while also laughing and enjoying the experience. Chef Jami struck the perfect balance between teaching and keeping the evening relaxed and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a unique night out, whether with friends, family, or a date, I highly recommend taking one of Chef Jami’s (and sous chef- wifie) classes. We left with new skills, full stomachs of sushi goodness, and wonderful memories. Thank you, Chef Jami, for such a fantastic experience!

I attended a pasta-making class with my siblings as a fun outing, and we all had such a great time! Chef Jami did a fantastic job breaking down the process of making pasta from scratch in a way that felt approachable and enjoyable, even for beginners. The sauce Chef Jami made alongside it was absolutely delicious and tied everything together perfectly. The setting, a winery, made the experience even more special, which created a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Being able to sip a drink while learning added a nice touch, and it felt like the perfect activity for a group outing or even a date night.
