After graduating from culinary school Chef Yen channeled that passion into launching a successful catering company in San Diego, delivering flavorful, beautifully presented meals with exceptional service.
Since becoming a mother of two, Yen focused on homeschooling and perfecting quick, nutritious home-cooked meals, curating ingredients, recipes, and tools that make healthy eating simple and satisfying for families.
In her classes, Chef Yen shows that homemade pizza takes no longer than delivery but offers fresher, healthier results and joyful shared moments. She builds kitchen confidence using mise en place ("everything in its place) principles that apply to any meal and beyond.

Chef Yen is one amazing individual. Her teaching style is just what anyone at any level of skill would appreciate. The class was very straight forward and the ingredients and steps were clearly understood. I am also incredibly happy I got to keep my class made dough ball and had another chance to hone my skills again at home!

This was an awesome class!! We both walked away so excited to try out this recipe at home. The teacher was so patient and kind and she really brought a beautiful energy and positivity to the whole experience. Would highly recommend this class to anyone and I hope to be able to take a class with this teacher again.

The cooking class was well organized and Chef Yen came prepared ahead of time. She made the pulled noodle process seem so easy and effortless that even someone who doesn't know how to cook can follow her instructions easily. The noodles were a great texture and the sauces were amazing. This is a vegetarian class though, so keep that in mind if you need protein. Loved it as a date night, 2 hours went by so fast, would recommend.

Chef Yen was phenomenal, the best instructor we've experienced in all of the cocusocials we've tried. She created a well structured class the broke down the stages of the noodle making and sauce preparation very well. We were even sent home with dough and sauce to continue cooking at home, which was the perfect way to jump start us on creating the recipe again. Will absolutely recommend Chef Yen and look forward to taking another class by her!
