Fresh Handmade Pasta: Fettuccine and Pesto

Description

Get ready for the ultimate pasta-making experience with Chef Jason—a hands-on culinary experince where you’ll learn to create fresh, silky fettuccine and bold, vibrant pesto, entirely from scratch.

You’ll start by mastering traditional pasta dough using Italian 00 flour, prized for its fine texture and elasticity. From mixing and kneading to rolling and cutting, you’ll craft your own ribbons of fettuccine under Chef Jason’s expert guidance.

But the real highlight? Making pesto by hand, the traditional way. Using a mortar and pestle, you’ll unlock the full flavor of fresh basil, garlic, pine nuts, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and olive oil—creating a sauce that’s bright, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. This immersive process connects you to the heart of Italian cooking and brings out the best in each ingredient.

Chef Jason will share pro tips along the way, from perfecting dough texture to pairing flavors and sauces that elevate your dish. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned home cook, this class offers an unforgettable, hands-on journey through one of Italy’s most beloved culinary traditions.

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in. You will be seated with your booking party, and guests in the same group will collaborate throughout the class by sharing ingredients and equipment. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price, but guests are welcome to BYOB (beer or wine).
